This week BAIC is launching its second electric vehicle on the market – the ArcFox Alpha T5 crossover. The car in China is priced from 155,800 to 199,800 yuan (1,994,000 – 2,558,000 rubles)
The standard version of the Alpha T5 is equipped with one electric motor with a power of 252 hp. (185 kW) and 360 Nm of torque. The car is equipped with batteries with a capacity of 65 kWh. The maximum power reserve is 520 km. The most expensive version received an electric motor with 272 hp. (200 kW) and 360 Nm. In this case, the battery capacity is 79.2 kWh. Cruising range – 660 km. Regardless of the configuration, the car is front-wheel drive.
The Alpha T5 is comparable in size to the well-known BAIC X7 in Russia: 4690/1936/1650 mm. with a wheelbase of 2845 mm. The design of the car is made in a modern style. The triangular headlight units received boomerang-shaped LED elements. The door handles are recessed into the body. The rear lights are interconnected across the entire width of the body. And there is a small spoiler above the trunk door. The image is complemented by 19-inch wheels (the most expensive version has 20 inches). The interior is designed in a minimalist style. The front panel has a single 15.6-inch screen. It also performs the “tidy” function. In the basic version, the car is equipped with a driver condition monitoring sensor and a platform for wireless smartphone charging. The most expensive version features atmospheric lighting with 256 lighting options.
