The Ferrari 296 GTB will be made into a racing car

Ferrari showed sketches of the 296 GT3 coupe – a track sports car that should become the heir to the brand's racing glory

The 296 GT3 will become the ideological successor to the models  488 GT3 and 488 GT3 Evo. They, in turn, are  the most successful cars in Ferrari racing history. It was on them that more than a hundred championship titles and more than 430 victories in various racing series were won. Unfortunately, the new product can only be seen in sketches and computer models.

The new product will differ from the standard 296 GTB by air intakes on the front wings, as well as a special racing body kit with an enlarged splitter and spoiler. As for the power plant, there is no exact information here. The civilian 296 GTB is equipped with a three-liter V6 with twin turbocharging and produces more than six hundred horsepower. Berlinetta (unofficial name 296 GTB) accelerates to the first “hundred” in 2.9 seconds, and its maximum speed is more than 330 kilometers per hour.
