Volkswagen ID.4 and ID.5 updated

Volkswagen has introduced the updated ID.4 and ID.5 electric crossovers. The power plant has changed and the multimedia system has been improved

The appearance of the cars remains the same. You can distinguish the new items by the 12.9-inch touch screen on the front panel. Optionally, the company now offers the installation of a premium Harman Kardon audio system, which includes 10 speakers with a power of 480 W throughout the entire perimeter of the cabin. The control unit for the air conditioning and sound volume mode has also changed slightly. New atmospheric lighting has been added.

Now rear-wheel drive versions are equipped with an electric motor producing 282 hp. and 545 Nm of torque. All-wheel drive modifications are equipped with two electric motors, the total power of which is also 282 hp. Top performance “GTX” increased power to 340 hp. Acceleration to “hundreds” will be 5.4 s. The maximum speed in all versions is limited to 180 km/h. Battery capacity – 77 kWh. The range on the ID.4 is 550 km, and on the ID.5 – 556 km. It is noted that in 10 minutes of refueling you can charge the batteries for 178 km of range.
